Different Design in One Panel

When you panelize multiple different PCB designs into a single panel, you need to specify how many unique designs are included. These designs are separated by V-cuts, mouse bites (tab routing), or milling slots.

How It Works

If your panel file contains 3 unique board designs arranged together, select "3" for Different Design. Each design may have a different circuit layout, but they must share the same layer count, thickness, surface finish, and other manufacturing parameters.

Pricing Impact

Additional different designs in one panel increase the engineering and setup cost. The first design is included in the base price; each additional design incurs a surcharge.

Requirements

• All designs in one panel must have the same number of layers
• All designs must have the same board thickness
• All designs must use the same surface finish
• Minimum spacing between designs: 1.6mm for V-cut, 2.0mm for tab routing
